Got only a table outside. But they have heaters and blankets. Turned out to be good. Inside was packed and loud. Quality of the food was outstanding. Had the carpaccio for appetizer and penne for my main. Great choice. Our waiter Olivia delivered great service with a smile. She made that evening truly special. Not the cheapest restaurant in Stockholm but very much worth it.

«First time» in Stockholm, and I’m very happy that me and my friend choose Portofino as our dinner spot. Very welcoming and friendly staff/waitresses. And the male waitress we had was such a sweetheart. Super cozy and authentic place. A good variety of options on the menu - something for everyone. The food was very good - especially the steak. Nothing special negative to comment. Overall very happy with our visit at Portofino. With kind regards Jannicke and Ella.
Food was awesome! We were a group of 4 but was sat by a dead end corner when the restaurant isnt full house. We struggle to get services to order extra drinks as there isn't any service available. Waited 1 hour for our main course after starter, we shared our concerns to the waiter (a tall silver grey hair man) and we was very angry challenged back that he is not late to serve and we just have to wait for it. Due to such unwelcome experience we rank their service as 1 star. Meanwhile two of our guess got a nasty belly after having tuna / tonno (in Swedish) as their main meal. I had Bigoli Frutti de Mer / seafood pasta which taste 5/5 . I can tell the pasta are freshly made with perfect al dente cook texture. As for the carpacio starter, it is nothing to shout out so I give this as 2/5 stars.
Portofino, Stockholm — a taste of Italy, served with grace. Right in the heart of Gamla Stan, Portofino feels like a warm handshake from an old-school Italian gentleman — charming, relaxed, and full of quiet elegance. Everything’s neat and lovely, the bathroom spotless, and the service kind in that classic, attentive way that makes you feel truly welcomed. There are places that feed your hunger, and then there are places like Portofino, that feed your spirit too. We ordered the grilled tuna, and the osso buco. Excelent! It didn’t shout. It told a story. And we listened, and enjoyed bite after bite. No dessert, because the finale needed no sugar, just a strong double espresso, and a Disaronno, smooth and almondy, like a whispered "grazie" from the meal itself. Service? Gentle and kind. You’re not rushed here. You're welcomed, like a guest that matters.
Amazing find in Gamla Stan! Super friendly and fun staff, quick service and delicious food! And cocktails! I was expecting a shot sized drinks, but look at the size!
What a wonderful surprise. Serving and food was top! Maybe not so Italian for a starter but the Oysters were sublime. Will come back next time in Stockholm

The restaurant is beautiful, the food was delicious and the staff were incredibly nice. We came with our 1-year old son and they spontaneously gave him a plate with fresh fruits and managed to free a dining table so we could change him! It was truly a delightful experience, totally recommended!
